Dr. Tillmann Lauk (LL.M.) is a distinguished German executive, legal scholar, and strategic advisor with a multifaceted career spanning law, banking, venture capital, and emerging technologies. Born in Stuttgart in 1955, he pursued studies in law and Protestant theology, culminating in a Ph.D. in International Civil Procedure from the University of Bayreuth. As a Fulbright Scholar, he earned an LL.M. from Columbia University, specializing in banking and corporate law.

Dr. Lauk’s professional journey includes serving on the Global Executive Board of Deutsche Bank AG, where he played a pivotal role in the bank’s international expansion. He also held executive positions in various German industrial firms, demonstrating a strong acumen in corporate leadership and strategic development. In the entrepreneurial realm, Dr. Lauk co-founded The Abrahamic Business Circle, an organization dedicated to fostering economic diplomacy and cross-cultural business collaboration. He is also the CEO of CERAFILTEC GmbH, a company specializing in advanced ceramic filtration technologies. His involvement with Quarero Robotics underscores his commitment to innovation in AI-powered security solutions.
An accomplished author, Dr. Lauk penned “The Triple Crisis of Western Capitalism,” a critical analysis of democracy, banking, and currency systems, reflecting his deep engagement with global economic issues.
At Paris Metropolitan University, Dr. Lauk brings his extensive experience and interdisciplinary expertise to the academic community, enriching the institution’s commitment to excellence in education and research.
