Questions worth answering.

Why study an MBA from Europe instead of an Indian online MBA?
Three reasons. Credential portability: an ACBSP-recognised European MBA is widely accepted across the EU, UK, GCC and USA — useful for Indian professionals targeting cross-border roles or relocation. Faculty depth: PMU's Global Expert Board includes the supervisory board of Magna International, the co-founding executive of Netflix, and a co-founder of PayPal — exposure rarely available in Indian domestic programmes at this price point. International cohort: students from 30+ nationalities, network beyond India.
How does PMU's price compare to NMIMS, Amity, Symbiosis?
PMU's full programme fee is €7,900, approximately ₹7,27,000 at the current rate. This is higher than the standard Indian online MBA tier (NMIMS ₹1,76,000; Amity ₹1,99,000; Symbiosis ₹1,50,000) but considerably lower than top Indian executive MBAs (IIM Kozhikode ₹14 lakh, ISB ₹19 lakh). The PMU positioning sits between the domestic and IIM/ISB tiers, with a European credential.
Is the PMU MBA recognised by UGC?
No — PMU is a French institution and operates under French private-higher-education law (Code de l'Éducation L 444-1 to 444-11) and ACBSP recognition, not under the Indian UGC framework. For private-sector employment in India and abroad, ACBSP recognition is widely accepted. For Indian government jobs or PSU positions that specifically require a UGC-recognised qualification, a UGC-entitled Indian MBA may be more appropriate.
Can I pay the fee in INR?
PMU accepts INR payments via major card networks (Visa, Mastercard) and through international wire transfer. The institution invoices in EUR; the candidate's bank handles the FX conversion. Monthly instalment plans are denominated in EUR and converted at the time of each payment.
What about education loans?
Indian banks routinely finance overseas online MBA programmes. HDFC Credila, Avanse, Auxilo, ICICI, SBI, and Bank of Baroda all offer education loans against ACBSP-recognised foreign credentials with the candidate's salaried employment as eligibility. PMU provides the documentation Indian banks require (acceptance letter, fee structure, programme schedule).
Do I need GMAT or CAT for admission?
No. PMU's admission criteria are a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, a complete application, transcripts, and a short academic-and-professional overview. Standardised test scores are not required. Decisions are returned within fourteen days of a complete application.
When do classes start?
Four intakes per year: January, April, July, September. Applications close two weeks before each intake. The next intake is September 2026 — applications close 15 August 2026.
How does the time zone work for Indian students?
PMU is asynchronous-first — the bulk of study is completed on the student's own schedule. The live cohort seminars are scheduled in two slots per week to cover EMEA, India and APAC. Recordings are available for any session a student cannot attend live.
